A cloud PC is a comprehensive service solution that includes cloud resources, transmission protocols, and cloud terminals. It utilizes an open cloud terminal to deliver resources such as desktops, applications, and hardware to users in an on-demand, elastically allocated service model via a transmission protocol. Users do not need to consider building complex IT infrastructure and can achieve multi-user access from a single device.

Compared to traditional computers, a cloud PC box (thin client) does not contain internal hardware such as a CPU, memory, or hard drive; these components reside in the cloud, enabling hardware resource sharing and on-demand allocation. The cloud PC system designed in this paper is exquisite and compact, portable, quick to deploy, and simple to operate. After connecting to a network, mouse, keyboard, and display, users can access their personal desktops, data, and various applications.

1 Overall System Solution

The overall system solution employs the Rockchip RK3588 as the main controller, with Realtek RTL8822CU for Wi-Fi. After the system is powered on and connected to a mouse, keyboard, and an HDMI display, it can be used as a regular computer. The overall system architecture of the cloud PC is shown below:![](https://pub-048dcb96257f476697b113fcb5939cb9.r2.dev/blog
