Next-Generation PCI Specification A429/717 Avionics Bus Adapter Card
A multi-protocol bus adapter card based on the third-generation PCI bus specification, supporting ARINC 429 and ARINC 717. This product supports up to 42 ARINC 429 channels, or 40 ARINC 429 channels plus 2 ARINC 717 channels. Each ARINC 429 and ARINC 717 channel can be software-configured as transmit or receive, meeting application requirements for communication, testing, and data analysis on ARINC 429 and ARINC 717 buses.
The ARINC 429 channels support standard ARINC 429 data rates as well as user-defined rates up to 200 kbps. The card supports both periodic and non-periodic message transmission, with programmable period sizes and message intervals via software. It offers three message buffering modes: queue, sampling, and multi-channel caching. Additionally, it supports programmable bus signal amplitude and bus signal capture functions.
The ARINC 717 channels support two encoding schemes: HBP and BPRZ. Multiple data rates are available, including 64 wps, 128 wps, 256 wps, 512 wps, and 1024 wps. Periodic message transmission is supported, and each received word is tagged with status and timestamp information.
Equipped with the latest generation ARINC 429/717 protocol processor and onboard 4MB of high-speed synchronous SRAM cache, this card ensures real-time data transmission and reception across multiple ARINC 429 and ARINC 717 channels. Bundled with FlightPack A429 software, it provides a complete hardware-software solution for ARINC 429 and ARINC 717 bus development and testing.
