The handheld portable 1553B bus tester is a modular, customizable test instrument that utilizes the PXIe expansion slots of a customized platform to embed self-developed high-performance T-series dedicated 1553B test cards, and integrates advanced protocol analysis and test software FP-1553B Pro and FP-5186.

The basic configuration allows for 1553B signal waveform acquisition (with a software oscilloscope), data monitoring, fault diagnosis, cable detection, data recording, fault injection, signal diagnostic analysis and localization, and BC/RT validity testing. It can also detect ambient temperature. This instrument is suitable for design evaluation, production debugging, and routine maintenance of high-reliability, high-stability equipment in the design, test, and production departments of industries such as aviation, aerospace, weaponry, and shipbuilding.

The system offers strong extensibility, with 4 PXIe and 5 MiniPCIe expansion slots capable of integrating various functional cards. Of these, 2 MiniPCIe expansion slots connect to external DVI video connectors, 2 MiniPCIe expansion slots connect to external D-SUB 44-pin connectors, and 1 MiniPCIe expansion slot has no external interface and can be used to expand M.2 storage devices.
