Fully Localized FMQL45AIT: Fudan Micro FPGA+AI Application in Subway X-ray Machines
In the "Core-Driven" section of the offline exhibition area, there were also two smallest exhibits: the "Qinglong No. 1 chips" – FMQL45T (referred to as Qinglong Qianmo) and FMQL45AIT (referred to as Qinglong Jindouyun) – publicly displayed for the first time by Shanghai Fudan Microelectronics Group. A sneak peek at the AI conference, in addition to the Qinglong chips, there were also drones that just set new records. Shanghai Fudan Microelectronics Group for the first time publicly exhibited the "Qinglong No. 1 chip" – FMQL45AIT (referred to as Qinglong Jindouyun).

Zeng Zhaobin, Deputy General Manager of Fudan Microelectronics Group, told reporters that "Qinglong Qianmo" is China's first domestically developed, proprietary, billion-gate level fully programmable fusion chip. It integrates a processing system based on a feature-rich quad-core processor and programmable logic on a single chip, capable of flexible edge AI acceleration. "Qinglong Jindouyun" is the world's first reconfigurable AI chip with a custom new architecture. Its computing power and speed are twice that of "Qinglong Qianmo," and it can identify targets within a few milliseconds.
After the two Qinglong chips "read and compute" the facial images captured by high-definition cameras, the processing time before feedback to the monitoring screen only takes 38-64 milliseconds, which can greatly improve real-time high-definition recognition and detection of crowds. Following Qinglong No. 1, Fudan Microelectronics will successively develop and launch new generations of more powerful domestically produced chips, such as Baihu (White Tiger), Zhuque (Vermilion Bird), and Xuanwu (Black Tortoise), to help Shanghai build a high-tech hub for the AI industry. A sneak peek at the AI conference, in addition to the Qinglong chips, there were also drones that just set new records.
Xinmai's upgraded subway X-ray machine
"Fudan Microelectronics collaborated with Shentong Metro and Gaocrystal Detection to upgrade the intelligent recognition system of subway X-ray machines. The time from seeing an X-ray image of a luggage package to identifying contraband in the image is less than 0.1 seconds, which is significantly faster than the visual identification time of professional security personnel." Currently, the upgraded X-ray machines have been piloted in 11 subway stations, including Longcao Road Station on Shanghai Metro Line 3, Xinjiangwancheng Station on Line 10, and Hongqiao Road Station.
