1.1 Product Introduction
Driven by the rapid intelligent development needs of industries such as intelligent transportation and industrial internet, the XM-RK3588 edge processor was developed with OpenHarmony as its framework, embedding HarmonyOS, to create a highly intelligent, highly reliable, highly secure, and independently controllable edge processor.

HarmonyOS enhances IoT interconnection and interaction capabilities, giving the edge processor the following advantages:
l Powerful support for connecting edge devices in complex scenarios, rapid deployment capability, and convenient replication capability.
l Localized data processing and storage, reducing network bandwidth pressure and customer operating costs.
l End-to-end data security management, with domestic OS + domestic chip, ensuring user data security.
l Rapid AI empowerment for existing devices, improving the processing capability for massive data.

- Supports Bluetooth, DI, DO, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, HDMI, audio, and other input/output.
- Equipped with an 8-core high-performance processor, providing high-speed processing and real-time response edge computing capabilities.
- Supports remote full-system upgrades, saving human and material resources.
1.3 Application Scenarios
The edge processor can be widely applied in fields such as edge computing, intelligent display, and industrial control, meeting management requirements in comprehensive solution scenarios like smart transportation, smart cities, intelligent manufacturing, and industrial IoT.
