Overview

The USB-XM1636 is a high-performance data acquisition card suitable for measurement applications requiring medium to low speed and high precision. The USB-XM1636 features 32 analog inputs (configurable as single-ended or differential), 4 channels of 16-bit DA output, 8 digital input (DI) channels, 8 digital output (DO) channels, and two 24-bit frequency measurement/counters. It includes onboard programmable gain amplifiers (×1, ×2, ×4, ×8), allowing software configuration of different gain settings per channel. The device supports external clocking and external triggering, meeting a wide range of measurement requirements. Logic control is implemented using a Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) to enhance reliability. Additionally, digital ground (GND) and analog ground (AGND) are separated with single-point grounding to eliminate loop interference.

The USB-XM1636 uses the CYPRESS CY68013A as its USB controller chip. This board is a high-speed, high-precision USB 2.0 bus data acquisition card that supports hot-plugging and plug-and-play functionality. Designed with an FPGA for improved reliability.

The product ships with drivers, dynamic link libraries (DLLs), programming guides (including demo programs) for Win10/8/7/Vista/XP, example acquisition programs in VB, VC, and LABVIEW, and comes with a two-year warranty.
