Low-Cost Solution for a Self-Developed EtherCAT Bus 4-Axis Open-Loop Stepper Driver

The self-developed EtherCAT bus 4-axis open-loop stepper driver can connect to TwinCAT, Omron PLCs, Inovance PLCs, CODESYS, SOEM master, and IgH master. Each motor axis supports a maximum drive current of 4A and can drive 42/57/86 series motors. It features 12 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs. The EtherCAT bus supports a 125us Distributed Clock (DC) synchronization cycle. It supports multiple dynamic PDOs, dynamic Object Dictionary configuration, saving of ID station number settings, and CSP, CSV, and homing modes. This is a low-cost EtherCAT bus driver solution.
