Domestic Virtual Instruments: Zynq-based Radar 10Gbps High-Speed PCIe Data Acquisition Card Solution (Part 1) Overall Design
2.1 Introduction
This project originates from a radar emitter identification project, which requires the acquisition, transmission, and storage of radar emitter intermediate frequency (IF) signals. Based on the project requirements, this chapter introduces the overall design solution for the data acquisition card. The data acquisition card design includes both hardware and software design. First, the performance and specifications of the acquisition card are analyzed, followed by the presentation of the overall hardware design. Building upon the hardware design, the overall software design is proposed, and finally, the relevant protocols and key technologies used are explained.
2.2 Overall Design Overview
2.2.1 Acquisition System Specification Analysis
In this project, the intermediate frequency (IF) band of the radar emitter signal is 760MHz to 1060MHz. This radar signal is a bandpass signal. By employing the bandpass sampling theorem, the sampling rate can be reduced, thereby lowering the data transmission rate. This makes hardware and software implementation easier.
