The entire debugging, verification, and simulation analysis is divided into three steps: The first step involves PCB inspection and electrical characteristic testing, primarily to verify whether the hardware design functions correctly. The second step involves functional testing of each sub-module, including stability and reliability testing of high-speed fiber optic serial communication, A/D and D/A conversion characteristic testing, EnDat serial communication timing testing and verification, etc., primarily to verify whether the FPGA software core operates correctly and meets the expected design requirements. The third step involves system joint testing and verification, which mainly includes the DSP system sending control command data to the remote servo control subsystem, and requesting and verifying remote position data from EnDat, incremental position data, and remote data from various digital or analog sensors.

5.1 Debugging and Verification Simulation Platform To verify and test the entire system, a corresponding debugging and simulation verification platform needs to be built. The debugging and simulation verification platform mainly includes three parts: hardware platform, software development environment, and simulation debugging tools:

  1. Hardware Platform: DSP main system control board, sensor data acquisition board, servo control and position data control card, PC.
  2. Software Development Environment: CCS3.3, Quartus II 11.1 and its SignalTap II on-chip logic analyzer, Modelsim SE, Matlab, etc.
