Dynamic Signal Assistant
Sinmax Dynamic Signal Assistant is an on-demand software tool designed for dynamic signal acquisition modules such as PCI/PXI-9527. In addition to displaying real-time visual data on screen, the Dynamic Signal Assistant features a Windows-based configuration interface (for parameter settings) and an instrument-like user interface (enabling basic waveform generation functions). Furthermore, it can record data from the hardware module. With the Dynamic Signal Assistant, signal acquisition and generation can be achieved within minutes without any programming.
Audio Testing Solution Based on High-Resolution Dynamic Signal Acquisition
Application: Audio Quality Testing System
Historically, critical performance analysis for acoustic response testing of audio playback devices has been performed by professional audio engineers. In addition to design verification, acoustic response testing is also essential for production line testing of multimedia devices.
Currently, many multimedia devices such as MP3 players, smartphones, and automotive audio systems use speakers. During speaker production testing, precise frequency response measurements and detailed harmonic distortion analysis require a high-resolution dynamic signal acquisition module with flexible analog I/O capabilities and high dynamic range. For example, a multi-tone or stepped-sine sweep signal can be generated via analog output to serve as excitation for the speaker. When converting the speaker's acoustic output into a voltage signal, a calibrated microphone acts as the sensor.
The analog input acquires the microphone's output signal and performs Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis on the measured audio signal, providing frequency and impedance response as well as harmonic distortion analysis.
