VPX and PXI Boards: High-Precision Data Acquisition and Virtual Instrument Design
Innovative Cooling Mechanism
Xinmai Technology has adopted an innovative thermal design. The cooling fan is located at the rear of the chassis, drawing cooling air in through bottom intake vents and exhausting it from the rear. This new design provides consistent cooling airflow to every PXI slot, offering excellent cooling capacity. When installed in a rack, this novel cooling design minimizes the intake of hot air exhausted by other equipment from the rear of the chassis, thereby maintaining a stable internal temperature.
Applications

Smart Chassis Management
To ensure system operational stability, an intelligent monitoring system is designed to provide protection and system regulation functions. Five sets of sensors are configured above the backplane to monitor temperature changes within the chassis. Through configurable settings, the fan speed is increased when the temperature is higher, which effectively ensures system operational stability and achieves energy-saving effects.
Exploring PXI Express

High-Performance Backplane Design
Xinmai Technology's chassis backplanes all utilize high-speed PCI Express/PCI buses, as well as advanced timing and triggering signals required for demanding measurement and automation applications, such as:
- 10 MHz reference clock signal available to all modules
In addition to retaining all the above PXI timing and triggering buses, the following have been added:
- MHz differential reference clock
- Differential star trigger
- Up to 4 GB/s dedicated bandwidth for each peripheral slot
