AM62X +FPGA+AD/DA TSN Industrial Gateway Solution
Texas Instruments (TI) has launched its new highly integrated Sitara AM62 processor, designed to extend edge artificial intelligence (AI) processing to next-generation applications. The new processor's low-power design supports dual-screen displays and small human-machine interface (HMI) applications. Engineers can deploy these intelligently designed, energy-efficient processors anywhere, according to field requirements.
TI will unveil the new AM62 processor at Embedded World in Nuremberg, Germany, from June 21-23, 2022, and introduce system-level solutions for edge AI and electric vehicle charging HMI applications.

Next-generation human-machine interfaces will bring new ways to interact with machines, such as issuing commands via gesture recognition in noisy factory environments, or controlling machines via wirelessly connected mobile phones or tablets. Adding edge AI capabilities to HMI applications, including machine vision, analytics, and predictive maintenance, can bring new meaning to HMIs, moving beyond mere interfaces to enable human-machine interaction. The AM62 processor provides low-
