RK3568 OpenHarmony-based Agricultural Financial Service Terminal Design Solution
Background
The No. 1 Central Document of 2022, "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Key Work for Comprehensively Promoting Rural Revitalization in 2022," proposed strengthening financial services for rural revitalization. "The 14th Five-Year Plan for Promoting Agricultural and Rural Modernization" emphasized improving the rural financial service system and included the "Rural Revitalization Financial Service Action" in the new round of rural reform initiatives. "The Rural Revitalization Strategic Plan" proposed, "establishing a rural financial system suitable for the characteristics of agriculture and rural areas, allocating more financial resources to key areas and weak links in rural economic and social development, and better meeting the diverse rural financial needs of rural revitalization." Major banks have also successively introduced financial service policies benefiting farmers in response to the rural revitalization financial policies.
New policy trends impose new requirements on the functions of traditional financial terminals:
First, upgrade agricultural business terminals at service points, gradually replacing existing POS agricultural terminals with integrated desktop terminals that combine passbook reading, ID card recognition, facial recognition, and other functions.
Second, enrich the types of agricultural business services at service points. In addition to basic financial services like withdrawals, transfers, and account balance inquiries, add functions such as fixed-to-current deposit transfers, loan disbursement and repayment, transaction SMS notification subscription, balance inquiry and transaction history printing with passbooks, utility bill payments (water and electricity), and provincial government services like social security and medical insurance payments.
Product Solution
Xinmai responds to the national rural revitalization financial service strategy and, in response to diverse rural financial needs, has launched an agricultural financial service terminal product solution featuring the RK3568 chip and OpenHarmony system.

Solution Introduction
The agricultural financial service terminal product solution utilizes an RK3568 commercial display mainboard, which features 4K H.265 hardware decoding capability and supports multiple display interfaces such as LVDS/EDP/MIPI. It can achieve three-screen heterogeneous display, meeting the diverse display requirements of agricultural terminals. The RK3568 mainboard has an NPU computing power of 0.8 Tops, enabling facial recognition. Additionally, the mainboard supports Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi + Bluetooth, 5G or 4G communication, and various peripheral interfaces like SATA/PCIE/USB3.0, allowing for customized product design for different application scenarios. Currently, RK3568 is widely used in smart finance, digital currency, rural inclusive finance, and other fields.

On the RK3568 mainboard, peripherals such as power amplifier speakers, microphones, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, 4G communication, ID card readers, QR code recognition, biometric detection radar, Ethernet, and temperature measurement modules have been debugged and integrated, with open API interfaces for various peripherals.

Solution Value
The RK3568 agricultural terminal product solution can be configured with modules such as magnetic stripe card readers, passbook readers, (non-)contactless IC card readers, and second-generation ID card modules, making it suitable for agricultural product terminals in various scenarios, and offers the following product values:
1. Integrated Card and Passbook Functionality
Simple operation, clear, friendly, and straightforward human-machine interface, requiring minimal training. The agricultural financial terminal supports various reader types for account information input, including bank magnetic stripe cards, contact IC cards, and passbooks. By selecting the service type, entering the transaction amount, and confirming with a password, the entire transaction process can be completed, effectively addressing the issue of most farmers in rural areas being unfamiliar with self-service equipment.
2. Convenient and Practical
The terminal is not just a financial terminal, but also an information terminal. On one hand, it provides convenient financial services to farmers in rural areas, and on the other hand, it can also offer professional information services to them.
3. Easy Maintenance
Traditional self-service financial terminals are complex to install and difficult to maintain. In contrast, the Youbo financial terminal equipment is lightweight, easy to install, plug-and-play, with independent functional modules, making maintenance simple and convenient.
