For the CPU, the RK3588 adopts a typical big.LITTLE architecture with 4x Cortex-A76 cores and 4x Cortex-A55 cores. The big cores operate at 2.4GHz, and the little cores at 1.8GHz, striking a balance between performance and power consumption. 1MB L2 Cache and 3MB L3 Cache provide stronger CPU computing capabilities.
For the GPU, the RK3588 integrates ARM Mali-G610. It supports at least two 4K UIs and can smoothly run complex graphics processing and games.
For the NPU, the RK3588 integrates Rockchip's fourth-generation AI computing engine with complete independent intellectual property rights, improving MAC operation unit utilization and bandwidth consumption by 30%. In addition to common H265/H264, support for 8K VP9/AV1 decoding ensures good compatibility with overseas video content playback. Second, the RK3588 employs Rockchip's third-generation image vision processing technology.
