It features immersion gold lead-free technology, a ten-layer board design, and industrial-grade specifications. It can be applied in motion control systems, machine vision processing systems, image recognition systems, audio analysis systems, video analysis systems, high-end measurement instruments, and other industrial applications.

Customers can choose different CPU, memory, and external storage configurations based on their specific applications. The core board supports the TI AM5728 processor, which includes two ARM Cortex-A15 processors and two floating-point DSP C66x™ Floating-Point VLIW DSPs @ 750MHz, along with PRU-ICSS supporting various industrial protocols. Memory supports industrial-grade 1GB-4GB DDR3, and external storage supports industrial-grade 4GB-16GB eMMC, offering highly convenient expansion.

The SOM572x core board supports various industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFIBUS, allowing products to easily achieve bus control and industrial networking. It can implement more complex and higher-precision motion control interpolation algorithms through its dual C66x DSPs. Furthermore, it can connect to an FPGA via the GPMC bus to achieve more industrial control and image processing functions.

Through its 8x McASP and dual C66x DSPs, the SOM572x core board can implement 16-channel or 32-channel audio processing and analysis algorithms for high-end applications, enabling scenarios such as sound source localization and echo cancellation.

It boasts powerful video encoding and decoding capabilities, supporting 1 channel of 1080P60, 2 channels of 720P60, or 4 channels of 720P30 hardware video encoding and decoding, and H.265 software video decoding. For video processing, leveraging the powerful capabilities of the dual C66x DSPs, it can achieve complex image recognition, video analysis and recognition, real-time data analysis and processing, and other high-end AI application scenarios.
