Power Data Concentrator

ARM Solution Overview: The power data concentrator, along with remote smart meters and data collectors, forms a remote meter reading, control, and management system. The concentrator is a data aggregation device for a meter reading area, used to collect and store data from water, electricity, gas, and heat meters. The concentrator has both an upstream and a downstream channel. The upstream channel can use GPRS wireless, telephone line, or wired LAN to achieve remote communication with the management center. The downstream channel uses low-power wireless, RS485, or pulse methods to collect, process, and store data from the collectors under its jurisdiction. The AM5728 core board can easily implement all the necessary functions for a concentrator.

  • Dual-core PRU-ICSS industrial real-time control subsystem, supporting industrial protocols such as EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS;
  • High-performance GPU, dual-core SGX544 3D accelerator and GC320 2D graphics acceleration engine, supporting OpenGL ES2.0;
  • Rich peripheral interfaces, integrating dual Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, GPMC, USB 2.0, UART, SPI, QSPI, SATA 2.0, I2C, DCAN and other industrial control buses and interfaces, supporting high-speed USB 3.0 interface;
  • The development board leads out a V-PORT video interface, allowing flexible connection to video input modules;
  • Extremely compact size, only 86.5mm*60.5mm;
  • Industrial-grade precision B2B connector, 0.5mm pitch, stable, easy to plug and unplug, anti-reverse insertion, high-speed connectors used for critical large data interfaces to ensure signal integrity.
